Day three and our FAD + V&A portfolio kids find themselves faced with a McQueen style print challenge.
Inspired by the digital mirror prints which were a trademark of Alexander McQueen’s own collections, the group decamped to the Natural History Museum (next door) to do some serious speed sketching.
Back to base to be met by digital print whizz kid, Clara, a past Fashion Futures teen and recent Chelsea School of Art Textiles graduate. With her guidance the young designers took to Photoshop learning how to convert their drawings into colourful repeat patterns, with amazing results.
