The FAD Junior Awards 2013 took place this season during Fashion Week at London’s legendary Freemasons’ Hall showcasing one-off designs from 20 talented student finalists on Tuesday 17th September.
Hosted by Fashion Scout, the 20 finalists took to the catwalk showcasing one-off garments inspired by London’s ‘Here and Now’. Amongst the many family and friends who attended the show were industry guests such as Harrods Buyer Emily Stirk and Tara Viggo who is a Pattern Cutter from River Island, and a number of FAD Volunteers.
The show was followed by an exhibition and drinks reception held at Dragon’s Hall. Exhibited on the night were the finalists’ illustrations and slide show of images taken throughout the course of Fashion Futures 2.
Then asked what they thought of FAD and the FF2 experience, winner of the Pattern Cutting Award Yosana Rodrigues De Ceita Leal said “FAD is amazing organization; all the professional help … I’m really grateful for it.”
